The Annual ACOI Education and Careers Evening 2018

Our Joint Managing Partner Anne Keys kicked off the guest speaker line-up by speaking on the topic of “The Compliance Market and the Evolution of the Compliance Professional”.

Her presentation is available on request [email protected]

This was followed by talks covering topics like;

  • The hot jobs within compliance at present time
  • Opportunities with the Data Protection Commission
  • Transferrable compliance skills within the various industries and how they can overlap and increase mobility and employability across industries/markets.

Melanie Blake (Director, ACOI) spoke to two former ACOI graduates, on the benefits of having a qualification from the ACOI. Afterwards, Anne and the panel did a Q&A session and answered questions from the audience on soft skills, advice on returning to work and top technical compliance skills for the future!

Clive Kelly (President, ACOI) and Anne finished the discussion saying that the route to the top in any organisation nowadays involves a number of years in a corporate governance role!

Alongside the conference part of the event, The Panel were delighted to have a stand in the main hall and would like to thank all those that came to speak to our consultants.

We would like to congratulate the organisers on a well organised evening.

Representing The Panel at this event was Anne Keys (Joint Managing Partner), Liam Murphy (Senior Recruitment Manager), Conor O’Reilly (Senior Consultant) and Mal Convery (Marketing Executive).
