The Panel announces a three year sponsorship and patronage deal with basis.point

We are delighted to announce that The Panel has entered into a three-year agreement with one of their chosen charitable initiatives, basis.point.

By becoming a Patron during this period, The Panel deepens their commitment to basis.point’s charitable work and welcome new and old friends to join the events organised by the organisation.

During an interview with Anne Keys (Joint Managing Director, The Panel) and Sandara Kelso-Robb (Executive Director, basis.point), the two discussed the beneficial relationship between the charity and the sponsor.

“We have been involved and supported basis.point since its initiation and have always admired the work carried out by them and their greater team of volunteers. By taking on this three-year deal we hope to further highlight the fantastic work they do on a daily basis, and perhaps, more importantly, get more people involved”, says Keys.

basis.point is a charitable initiative of the Irish Funds industry, established in 2013. They receive funding via Patrons, Supporters and Donors and have a big support system, from their volunteers. Presently the funding received benefits six partner charities; The Early Learning Initiative (ELI), Archways, Suas, Foróige, Business in the Community Ireland and the DIT Foundation. Funds distributed to these organisations supports their work with educational support for those in need, especially those from disadvantaged areas within Dublin, Limerick and Cork.

On the announcement of the deal, Kelso-Robb says “basis.point relies heavily on the financial support received from our Patrons, Supporters and Donors and we are now looking to increase sponsorship opportunities. To secure sponsorship of the lunch at our Annual Corporate Golf Tournament partner with The Panel is fantastic and we are very grateful for their continued support.”

On Friday, September 7th 2018 we are delighted to sponsor the lunch and participate in the basis.point 6th Annual Corporate Golf Challenge, at Milltown Golf Club, Dublin.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this initiative, and we hope to see you all at the golf event in September”, says Keys.
